The solar lights are designed to turn on automatically as soon as it becomes dark. This is only possible if the AUTO/OFF switch is set to the AUTO position and the solar unit\'s rechargeable battery is charged. The rechargeable battery\'s performance depends on the duration of exposure to sunlight. The Luminance and luminous period of the solar lights may be signficantly affected if the solar cell field is not exposed to an adequate amount of sunlight.
